Winnipeg Accountant Michael P. Angers is a partner in HMA Chartered Accountants, and graduate of the University of Manitoba. After moving to The Pas, he gained valuable experience working as the Controller and Director of Finance of the Opaskwayak Cree Nation.

Michael holds the following accreditation: BSc, CA

Michael wrote the Uniform Final Examination to become a Chartered Accountant in September of 2000 and received the Gold Medal for receiving the highest mark in Manitoba. He then moved back to Winnipeg in August of 2001 to become the managing partner of his firm's new Winnipeg office.

With significant experience in small business, audit and First Nation clients, he is also a Panel Member Auditor for IIROC firms and qualified as a CFO for IIROC member firms.
